The National Hurricane Center identified a disturbance in the eastern Atlantic as Tropical Depression #5 early this morning. The storm is located 505 miles east of the Windward Islands and is moving West at 20 miles per hour. Maximum sustained winds are at 34 MPH with gusts reaching 46 MPH.

This storm is expected to intensify by Saturday to a Tropical Storm, should this happen it will be Tropical Storm Ernesto.
