How does it work?

In the event of a covered loss, Florida Peninsula will work with Contractor Connection, a premier network of licensed and insured contractors throughout the State of Florida, to provide insureds with worry free claims handling.  Contractors will be assigned to meet the specific needs of each claim situation. Our policyholders can expect the following to occur during the handling of a claim:

Step 1

A contractor will attempt to contact the insured within 24 - 48 hours to schedule an appointment to inspect the damages. Often they are able to schedule appointments the same day.

Step 2

The contractor will work with our adjuster to reach an agreed scope and price for the covered damage repairs, and the contractor will repair the covered damages.

Step 3

To provide the best service we can, the insured will only need to arrange times for the adjuster and contractor to have access to their home, and submit a deductible directly to the contractor. Florida Peninsula will pay the contractor directly once the repairs are completed.

Service Guarantee

The contractor provides a three-year workmanship warranty for the repair of damages they complete on your home, excluding any general wear and tear. The warranty also ensures their workmanship shall conform to generally accepted local building repair practices.
