I initially thought my claim was for flood insurance. Once I was notified that the damages fell under the purvey of the homeowner's insurance, I contacted Florida Peninsula. They were pretty much on the job the very next day. Each step of the way rolling seamlessly into the next without issue.

The whole process was easy and smooth. Our claim was for Hurricane Ian wind damage at our condominium development. Our condo association prepared all the necessary details and justifications which we sent to Florida Peninsula. Our adjuster contacted us by phone within 24 hours of us emailing our request and the condo assessment. Within three more days the matter was assessed, reviewed and approved and we were advised. Eric was so helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. He was patient in explaining both the process and what I should do in terms of next steps for my home. Everything went good with the process. The final check took longer to get than the first two. I still don't understand why there was any kind of deduction for "non-recoverable depreciation" when my policy clearly stated actual cash value.
